Paula Feltner of the Local Control Coalition...lobbies for a Fairfield
group...made the following suggestion to the Coalition.
I agree totally with her. The legislators on the study committee, in my
previous email should be targeted. Those of you in Sierra Groups who have
any of those legislators among yours, please generate as much careful, and
considered, comment to them as possible. I expect we will refine this even
more as September approaches and the meeting dates are announced.
Letters and personal visits are best at this point, because there is time
for that, and those methods give the greatest opportunity for well stated,
careful and considered comments and hopefully conversation.
