This afternoon I heard from a party in Emmetsburg whose house (and other residences) are about 100 feet from a proposed heavy industry(cement manufacturing) development. The land has to be rezoned from agricultural.  The people opposed are looking for someone experienced in dealing with planning and zoning changes.  (Perhaps someone in 1000 Friends?)  
 
I Thought there would be someone from the Department of Natural Resources who would also have some insight on defeating this rezoning.
