From the Fairfield Ledger, It read "It would take several more fish kills
before Republicans would pass that (hog lot moratorium) as they've made it
clear they don't support such a measure. They also don't support giving
counties more control over approving, or refusing, plans to build additional
farms, Rants said." (Rants is House Republican leader).

It is an interesting slant for an AP writer to suggest that a few more fish
kills would make the Republicans pass a hog lot moratorium.
