1. Hello, the new Sierra Club national magazine lists "good reads" I
would like to put together a listing of books for our own state
newsletter that was made up of good "Iowa" books (or Upper
Midwest books) that those of us have found vital: local writers,
topics .... Please respond with your ideas to [log in to unmask] and
I will compile the list and then submit it to the Sierra newsletter
here in eastern Iowa which then gets included in the state mailing.

2. Secondly, I am curious if anybody would be interested in doing a
nature writing retreat sometime this year if I plan one at a park
setting this year. I have been doing environmental/place
based/nature writing for over ten years and would love to do this if
there is an interest. If you are interested please respond to

Thanks everybody, Steve Semken

once again, please respond to [log in to unmask]
