Here is information on EPA's proposed rule clarifying what waters come within the jurisdiction of the Clean Water Act. Two Supreme Court decisions over the past several years have muddied the waters (pun intended). The rule is proposed to clarify the issue.

I have some very exciting news to share.  EPA has just posted its draft “Waters of the US” rule:

Once the draft rule is published in the Federal Register, there will be a 90-day public comment period.  
 
I will be sending you all some sample materials (factsheet, press statement, social media toolkit, etc.) within the hour.
