Volunteer Opportunity

The Department of Natural Resources is recruiting volunteers to help haul 
tires out of a wooded creek bed into an open field for pick up and disposal.

Date: Saturday, December 9, 2006

When:  8:00 AM - ??

Where:  3341 NE 56th St, Des Moines (Pleasant Hill)

What:  Haul approximately 1,500 tires from a wooded creek bed to an open 
field.  Tires will be hauled anywhere from 50' to 500'.  An ATV with a bed 
on it to haul tires would be most helpful.

Details:  Volunteers should bring gloves, wear old clothes, dress for some 
mud possibly and bring garden tools if available such as pruners, lopers, 
rope and shovels.
