Paul Lepisto has updated the letter being sent to senate offices and including a reference to Sen. Blunt's amendment to cut Missouri River Species recovery programs by $50 million dollars. We signed on to the earlier version of this letter so I assume we do not need a vote. If you wish to send your own version of this letter to your senator, that would help. I am headed to Denver for the Recovery Committee meeting and on Friday the Flood Task Force meeting--Sierra Club is identified as a collaborative member of the task force. Wish me luck.
