IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO GET YOUR EQIP COMMENTS IN - BUT IT WILL BE ON THURSDAY.

PLEASE ACT TODAY.

First, many thanks to all of you who have responded to our call for massive
public comments on the EQIP rule.  You’re making a real difference!

To those of you who have not yet sent in comments, we have made it really
easy for you to submit detailed, personalized and expertly crafted comments
by email in a matter of seconds, directly from our website.

If you have more time, you can also add your own personal stories and
priorities straight from our website.

But if you know this is important and just don’t have much time, please take
ONE MINUTE and go to

http://www.sustainableagriculture.net/eqipAlert.php. Follow the easy steps
outlined there, and then feel good for the rest of the week!

One way or the other, $11.6 billion of our tax dollars will be spent through
EQIP over the next 10 years.

PLEASE DO YOUR PART! Be one of thousands who send the message loud and clear
that the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) should focus on
environmental quality and excellent performance, and should NOT become a
major subsidy for large confined animal feeding operations (CAFOs).

All public comments must be received by March 12th, this Wednesday.

NOTE: Public comment on program rulemaking (like the EQIP comments) is NOT
LOBBYING.
