I did just *NOW*. Here is the message I left in Congressman Boswells
office.

Ask Your Representative to Support a Clean Energy Future

Make a call to Representative (D-Iowa District 3) Leonard L. Boswell's
Office

Phone: (202) 225-3806

Thank you for taking action on energy legislation that will spur
innovation, reduce our dependence on foreign oil, and curb global
warming. This summer, the Senate increased fuel economy standards to 35
mpg by 2020, and the House passed a bill that requires 15 percent of our
country's electricity to come from renewable sources by 2020. To turn
this legislation into progress, we need you to call your Representative.

Here are some suggested talking points for your call --

    * I am calling to urge you to help pass the strongest clean energy
provisions in the energy bill, including a renewable electricity
standard of 15 percent by 2020. We also need to increase fuel
economy standards to 35 mpg by 2020 in the final energy bill.

    * I am concerned about the cost of filling up my gas tank as well as
my home heating bills this winter. Please demonstrate your
leadership on this issue by supporting a bill with both measures.

    * I know we have the ability to produce clean electricity and make
our cars go farther on a gallon of gas.

    * We need to reduce global warming pollution starting now and we can
do so while creating jobs and lowering our energy bills.
