ExComm members: Please consider what you can do to help below. I am giving
first opportunity to you, then in a day or so out the broader Sierra Club
membership. If you cannot help, recruit me 1-2 excellent volunteers who can.

The CDC project will need 20-25 excellent Sierra Club Volunteers over the
next 2 weeks.

I need 4-6 volunteers for 1 1/2 hours an evening before the 13th, probably
the 11th.

And particularly I need 10-15 good volunteers from 2 pm to 8 pm on September
13, Saturday, to attend and work for Sierra Club's Clean Energy message at
the Harkin Steak Fry in Indianola at the Balloon Fields. President Clinton
will be the headline speaker, and most of the 9 Presidential Candidates will
be there.

We will have a table with materials and t-shirts and volunteer postcards. We
will be working the crowd with materials, shopping bags, volunteer postcards
and other materials. Many and varied responsibilities.

PLUS, you get into the event at our expense, have a great steak dinner, hear
the speeches you are interested to hear, meet the VIPs and have lots of FUN!

And we will need a 'media team' for interviews etc.

Please let me know soon if you will be available and interested to help. I
really need you! We are going to have a huge and great presence! It'll make
your proud!
