Last year, over 65 forest protection volunteers from over 27 states came to
Washington, DC to learn more about the Sierra Club's National Forest
protection efforts and to meet with important decision-makers. Building on
that amazing success, we're looking forward to another great experience
this year.

Here's your chance to travel to the Nation's Capitol and pitch in to
protect our National Forest from destructive commercial logging! From April
26- May 1, you'll be able to participate in this fun and educational event.
This year's National Forest Protection Week will feature in-depth training
from the Sierra Club's leading forest advocates, as well as the exciting
opportunity to meet with Members of Congress. Attendees will also have the
opportunity to meet with other volunteers working on this issue in their
