I will be on Iowa Public Radio on Monday, Jan. 23 program, “The Exchange,”
from noon – 1 p.m.
Iowa Public Radio is focusing on the MidAmerican Nuclear Power bill HF 561.

The show preview is posted on their website, where you can also listen in
to The Exchange online at http://iowapublicradio.org/news/the-exchange/

Anthony Carroll from AARP and I will be on the show in the second half
hour, after the President and CEO of Mid-American Energy Bill Fuhrman and
state lawmakers (probably Rep. Soderberg and Sen. Hogg) talk about the
legislation during the first half hour with host IPR Statehouse
correspondent, Joyce Russell.

Anthony and I will be on from about 12:30-1 p.m. This is a call-in show, so
please feel free to call in with any comments or questions, and feel free
to let your colleagues and fellow supporters know. IPR encourages calls and
comments: 1-866-780-9100, email [log in to unmask]

They apparently base a lot of Joyce’s questions on what they receive via
email, twitter, and facebook, so let’s flood IPR contacts with people who
are with us in opposing this bad deal!

Here’s their email, twitter and facebook:

I want people to hold MidAm's feet to the fire about this bad proposal in
the first half of the show. The 2nd half will be more of a debate b/n the
forces of good & the forces of evil. Just listen and send in questions that
help us defeat this horrible piece of public policy.
