DENISON – A plugged line coming from a holding pond at the Tyson Foods plant in Denison sent partially treated industrial wastewater into the Boyer River Wednesday afternoon.

However, the plant had completely stopped the flow to the river by 4 p.m. and had equipment on site to unplug the line.

The DNR Atlantic field office will inspect the site and discuss measures to prevent future problems.
