I attend the town meetings each month for the local Sioux City democratic representatives and senators. Last year we may have had half a dozen attending the meeting. This year the library
room was crowded(about 50 people) and two news cameras were set up.

My first question was how the local control issue would be brought up this year. Though I did not get a clear answer, Senator Warnstad was featured on the tv news with his observation that counties get the chance to zone every other activity and they should be able to zone these factories.

Let's let our representatives know that now is the time to make some changes.

Jim Redmond
