The Iowa Alliance for Responsible Agriculture, of which the Sierra Club is a member, is having a lobby day on January 16.  We will be lobbying our state legislators asking for a CAFO moratorium.

The kickoff begins with a press conference in the capitol in Des Moines from 10:00 to 10:30.

Following the press conference, a training and information session will be held from 10:45 to noon, at the Wallace Building Auditorium, across the street from the capitol.

From 1:30 to 3:30, the folks will assemble in the Rotunda of the capitol and will lobby.
