The ODOR CONTROL bill, having been voted out of House Ways & Means
Committee late this morning, as a ‘committee bill’, now has a new
number just ‘read in‘; HF 2652 now become HF 2688. With this action is
gains new life, fully escaping any Funnel deadlines.......a fully live
round with no incorporation of any changes advocated by environmental
or natural resource, health or other groups except the industry. It
still stinks!

This morning at the subcommittee meeting, a new ally did step
forward.....the Iowa Nurses Association......concerned about health
effects of odor components.
So if you care about it........still do those alerts, use the new
number, all comments made heretofore, and in last evenings alerts
fully still apply.
Lobbyists...don’t forget to re-declare on the new number!
Thanks. FYI.
