Written comments should be sent to Theresa Stiner, Land Quality and Waste
Management Assistance Division, Department of Natural Resources, 502 E. 9th
Street, Des Moines, Iowa 50319–0034; fax (515)281–8895 on or before January
29, 2002.

The public hearing will be January 29, 2002, at 1 p.m. in the Fourth Floor
East Conference Room of the Wallace State Office Building, at which time
persons may present their views either orally or in writing. At the hearing,
persons will be asked to give their names and addresses for the record and
to confine their remarks to the subject of the rules.

IRA Comment: We will be presenting our statement in support of the rules as
revised.  The process was efficiently and effectively managed by the DNR.
These rules help to better implement an already extremely effective law and
will help educate the public as to their responsibilities within the current
structure.
