Urge support for Effigy Mounds addition June 8th!

The Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation is seeking to add 1,045 acres to the
Effigy Mounds National Monument in Allamakee County. To make this addition
a reality, the U.S. Congress must authorize the expansion of Effigy Mounds
and a $750,000 appropriation to the National Park Service to fund part of
the acquisition.

A hearing before the National Parks and Public Lands Subcommittee of the
Resources Committee of the House of Representatives is scheduled for June
