Glenn, our phone banks told constituents he was a Presbyterian minister
)after all we were talking to right wing Christian bigots in the 5th
district) and that he was a Navy Veteran and served on a nuclear
submarine! Didn't matter--he wasn't a Republican--that's all that
matters in the 5th district to the majority of voters. There were 3
Sierra Club members who phone banked every day in the 5th district that I
know about. Phyllis

Ron Hubler got 600 less vote than Oboma in Crawford County
Iowa. Explain that. Ron was a Presbyterian Minister and a Navy
Veteran . That alone should have gotten him votes.

Glenn
