Just a short note to say thanks to everyone who attended our Monday office opening in Des Moines. With a strong turnout from Club members and leaders, we were able to communicate our message to a fairly broad spectrum of groups and interested individuals here in Iowa. Pam Mackey-Taylor, Ken Sanguin and Joe Richie spoke eloquently about the Club and our goals; and were well-received by representatives of the Dodd and Obama campaigns, the Utilities Board, Department of Natural Resources, Interfaith Power and Light, and of course our Blue-Green partners the United Steelworkers. Anyone who didn't have the opportunity to participate on Monday is encouraged to stop by and say hello, or give us a call to find out how you can get involved in the work we are doing. Thanks again!
