In case you missed this note in the recent Sierra Magazine:

Theodore Roosevelt established the National Forest and National Wildlife
Refuge Systems.  A century later, the Bush adminsitration is working to undo
its Republican predecessor's achievements.

*Roosevelt preserved 240 million acres.

*The Bush adminsitration has weakened protections
on 234 million acres.
