Public Comments Submitted to the Environmental Protection Commission


    Thank you for the opportunity to comment on the proposed rule changes to
Chapter 107, Beverage Container Deposits.  The Iowa Chapter Sierra Club
believes that the rule changes proposed by the Department of Natural
Resources are appropriate and were created in a fair and open manner.
Stakeholder input was solicited and responded to through the Advisory
Committee, and in many cases accommodations were made with respect to the
concerns of the stakeholders.
The Iowa Chapter Sierra Club supports the changes proposed by the DNR and the
manner in which they were made.  Thank you for your time.
