Since the price of lead is rising dramatically, I think lead is being recycled as much as possible.  Have you priced a car battery lately?  Jerry N

As I understand that weights used on car tires to balance them can no 
longer be made of lead.  These weight can fall off cars and when cars 
are recycled the lead weight usually are not removed and can wind up all 
most any were.  I am not sure if this EPA rule was passed but it was 
discussed.
