STATE PRESERVES BOARD TO MEET APRIL 2 IN JOHNSON COUNTY
The State Preserves Advisory Board will meet at 8:30 a.m., April 2, at the
Johnson County Conservation Education Center in F.W. Kent Park, near Oxford.
Board members will meet on April 1 to visit several sites nominated for
preserve status. Members will meet 1 p.m., at the McDonalds restaurant off
I-80, exit 240 to begin touring the sites. The meeting and the tour are open
to the public.
Members of the State Preserves Advisory Board are Neil Bernstein, Robin
Fortney, Kathy Gourley, Laura Jackson, Scott Moats and Tim Sproul. The DNR
Director is Jeffrey Vonk.
