One answer to nonrespnsive Democrats is to contribute to the Iowa Chapter Political Action Committee at 620 36th
street, Des Moines,Ia,50312 which donates to only legislators favorable to the environment.

Subject: disappointing legislative session
Hello Sierrans,
I wrote a piece for Bleeding Heartland about some of the disappointments this session, including the dirty water bill and the manure in water bill:

If anyone has any ideas for pushing elected Democrats in a better direction on the environment, I'm all ears. You can e-mail me or comment at Bleeding Heartland (it only takes a minute to register for an account).
Cheers,
Laurie
