For those of you who know Linda Appelgate, her mother Geneva Dengle passed
away Sunday.  A memorial service will be held at the First Unitarian Church
on SW Bell in Des Moines at 10 a.m. Friday, December 28.

Linda was active in Central Iowa Sierra Group for many years and was
Executive Director of Iowa Environmental Council for about five years before
she resigned to join the Peace Corps.  She has been serving in the Peace
Corps in Belize for several months.

The obituary was in today's Des Moines Register.
