The third grant was given to help  Ethanol plants  This is from George
Cunningham, who lives in Omaha and is on the Water Sentinels Leadership
team.
He says; The 3rd project is part of a long strategy to use Missouri River
water to meet the water needs in the surrounding states.  The surface and
groundwater in this service area was/is not longer enough for the future
economic growth.  Four massive well pumps in the alluvial aquifer
immediately adjacent to the Missouri River are the water supply source.
Water intensive industries have moved into places like Lucerne, MN.  This
project is not about serving underserved communities.
