Hi Charlie & Dick:

Several lines of evidence tell me there is a number of people in the Dubuque/Cedar Rapids area as well as statewide within the Sierra Club, who are or may become interested in learning about the very serious threat of frac sand mining to the entire Driftless Area.  Unfortunately, I do not have names or email addresses for these individuals.

Therefore, I would greatly appreciate it if you would read the details within the attached invitation to our upcoming Frac Sand Bus Tour that I am organizing.

Then please forward the invitation to any person who you feel might be interested in this educational undertaking.

This will be our second such tour.  The first one, on August 6th, a weekday, was highly successful.  The upcoming event will be held the first Saturday in October, and will be easier for folks to fit into their schedules.  The deadline for reserving a space on the bus is September 30.

If you have any questions, please contact me.

Thank you very much for your assistance!!
