The pro-drilling lobby in Congress is at it again, and this time, they're
exploiting our armed forces to open the Arctic Refuge to oil drilling. 
Some members of Congress are trying to sneak a provision into the defense
spending bill that would open the Arctic Refuge to destructive oil
drilling. 

The Defense Appropriations bill is intended to support American men and
women in uniform, not open a national treasure like the Arctic Refuge to
oil and gas development.  This is a shameless exploitation of our troops
for the sake of oil company profits.  

Please call your Senators right now to let them know that you're outraged
at this sneaky backdoor attempt to allow drilling in our Arctic Refuge.

 Your hard work has kept provisions for drilling out of the federal

Pro-drilling members of Congress will stop at nothing to open the Arctic
Refuge to oil drilling, including hijacking a bill that funds our troops
in a time of war.  It's a dirty trick, and we cannot let Congress get
away with it!

the Arctic Refuge.
