Iowa Sierrans:

Particularly since our ExComm had to be cancelled today, I provide the
attached report as my first report of bills introduced in the 2005 Session
of the Iowa General Assembly. No bills have been reported out of committee
as of this time, most were only very recently introduced.

You can, of course, check on the text of any bill, or its on-going current
status at the General Assembly's bill tracking site: [just click below]

http://www.legis.state.ia.us/Legislation.html

Note that I include the Bill #, Bill Title, and some notes of milestones.
Many bills have not been drafted and introduced as of this writing. Bills
have through Friday, March 11, to be reported out of Committee in order to
clear the ³First Funnel². (²Second Funnel² is April 8.) This report includes
those bills that were eligible for action thru this week.

As always, I continue to take pride in my association with the Iowa Chapter
of Sierra Club. Thanks. Lyle Krewson.
