Subject: EPA hearings on animal confinement this Wed in Ames

There was a short news item in todays Sunday Register about an EPA hearing
on regulation of large animal confinements. It is Wednesday March 7 from
1:30 to 5:30 at  Benton Auditorium, Scheman Bldg, Ames.

This could possibly be very important about which direction Iowa goes, or it
could be a sideshow. In any case, I hope there is a large turnout of
family farm advocates and ecologically-minded citizens.
