The Sierra Club is having a special meeting in Ames this week.  Details follow:

Public Meeting in Ames
Professor Jim Baker of the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems
Engineering at ISU will talk to us about nutrient (fertilizer/manure)
management in Iowa agriculture. A specialist in this area, Professor Baker
will help us understand the challenges we face in safeguarding the health
of our environment in an agricultural state. Special attention will be
given to the challenges presented by large animal operations.
The meeting we be held at 7:00 p.m. in the Community Room at the Ames
Public Library on Douglas Avenue between 5th and 6th Street in downtown Ames
