Hello-

     My name is Lisa Tofanelli and I work for Congressman Jim Leach.  This
year the Congressman is starting a drive to plant 10,000 trees in the first
district area, this includes Iowa City.  I was wondering if your organization
would be interested in pairing up with our students for Leach Organization to
distribute sapling blue spruce trees to students.  The Congressman has bought
the trees so there would be no cost to you.  I was thinking that we could man
tables at different areas of the campus to hand out trees.  With both of our
efforts we could gain more exposure for both or our causes, ours the election
of Congressman Jim Leach and yours the environmental support.
