Mr. Nepstad is uninformed about Nebraska if he thinks the Omaha Zoo is the
best (and only) thing that Nebraska has to offer.

Obviously he has never visited -
The acclaimed Museum of the Fur Trade in Chadron
Or the sand hills
Or seen the sandhill crane migration (and if he were lucky, the whooping
cranes)
Or the Platte River
Or Ft. Kearney
Or seen the Karl Bodmer watercolors (from the Maximilian expedition up the
Missouri River, 1833-34) at the Joslyn Art Museum
Or Ashfall fossil beds
Or Chimney rock

And Mr. Nepstad is equally wrong about the Iowa CHILD project

I hope that all those opposing the Iowa CHILD fiasco-in-the-making, will
keep up the good work.

MJ Hatfield
