Directions to the conservation issues program on Saturday--Franklin Library.

If you are coming to Des Moines on the I-235 Freeway, take the 42nd Street
(Des Moines) exit and turn north. Take 42nd Street to University Avenue,
turn left (west) to 48th Street. Turn north on 48th Street and proceed to
Franklin Avenue. Turn left (west) on Franklin and the library will be on the
left in a few blocks.

If you are coming from the northwest on Hwy 141, you can go south on I-35/80
to I-235 Freeway and follow the above directions---or you can go east on
I-35/80 to Merle Hay Road.  Exit south on Merle Hay Road and take that
street to Franklin Avenue. Turn left (east) on Franklin Avenue and the
library will be on the right in a few blocks. For those who prefer to avoid
traveling on the Freeway during this construction time, coming on Merle Hay
Road from I-35/80 is an option.
