Dear Friends,


The Iowa Chapter has elected to exhibit at the 2013 Iowa
State Fair from August 8-18.  This year’s
Sierra Club exhibit will focus on Iowa’s water quality.  

The Chapter is seeking volunteers to staff the booth.  We are looking for two volunteers per
shift.  Shifts run from 9 a.m. to noon;
noon to 3 p.m.; 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. daily throughout the run
of the fair.


As a thank you for staffing a shift at the fair, the Chapter
will provide you with one free admission ticket for every day that you
volunteer.  Ticket prices were increased this year so that's an $8 savings.
