The Des Moines Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will hold a
public information meeting, to  receive input and comments on the Federal
Fiscal Years 2007-2010 Transportation Improvement Program (FFY 2007-2010
TIP) , at 7;00 p.m., Monday, June 26, 2006, in the Des Moines Area MPO
Conference Room.

The Des Moines Area MPO staff was requested by Iowa DOT to develop the
four-year FFY 2007-2010 TIP, an annual document that identifies
transportation projects that Des Moines Area MPO member governments and
agencies intend to implement using federal funds over the next four years.
The Des Moines Area MPO will approve the FFY 2007-2010 TIP at its July 20,
2006, meeting.

The public meeting will be conducted utilizing an open forum format.  Des
Moines Area MPO staff will be present with information to discuss the FFY
2007-2010 TIP, and to respond to questions.

Interested individuals are encouraged to attend the meeting to express their
views and ask questions.  The Des Moines Area MPO will accept written
comments on the FFY 2007-2010 TIP at the public information meeting or one
may submit inquiries to the Des Moines Area MPO.
