A brand new guide to Iowa State Preserves, by Ruth Herzberg and John
Pearson, has just been published by the UI Press - it looks wonderful! "The
Guide to Iowa's State Preserves," 214 pages, costs $14.95 - Includes lengthy
descriptions of each preserve (including vegetation information), directions
on how to get there, good maps, and more general description / history of
the Preserves System. A must- have reference for all plant lovers and nature
explorers, for sure! I don't know if it's made it to the bookstores yet, but
