Iowa State University is hosting "A Call to Action
Summit:Ensuring Iowa's Leadership in the Bioeconomy"
from 8:30 am to 4:45 pm Tuesday in the Scheman
building in Ames.
Registration is required and costs $25
Morning speakers include Iowa Governor-elect Chet
Culver,ISU president Gregory Geoffroy and Robert C
Brown,Iowa Farm Bureau director of biorenewables
programs at ISU.
In the afternoon, groups will discuss biomass
production,biorefineries,and other topics to develop
policy ideas,funding recommendations and plans to work
