Please call Jim Nussle to thank him for keeping the Arctic National
Wildlife Refuge out of the Budget Bill in the past & ask him to do it
again.  A decision can come as early as Wednesday.
 The news- both the House and the Senate Budget Committees will be in a
process called markup this Wednesday. This is a crucial time that is
coming sooner than expected. If we win here, we will be better off down
the road.
Defenders of Wildlife is running ads across the state of Iowa to make
sure Rep. Nussle keeps the Arctic Refuge wild. To make these ads more
