held at the Urbandale Public Library on Saturday, August 4th, at 1:30 PM.

Two sisters decided to bike across America to raise
their voices for a land that cannot speak in words -
the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.
WHAT: A presentation and discussion of the devastating impacts oil
development would have on the pristine Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.
WHO: Sisters Emily and Betsy Ferry are biking across America this summer in
a campaign to raise awareness and protect the Arctic National Wildlife
Refuge from the devastation of oil drilling. The young women, who started
the tour on June 5, are pedaling from Seattle, Wash., to Washington, D.C.,
visiting cities and towns across the nation to encourage protection of the
national treasure while promoting alternative energy production and
conservation.

A bike ride to save the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge
