Greetings Sierrans and Colleagues!

A great opportunity to improve your communication skills via the media so we
cal all get our message through to the public and public policy-makers in a
stronger way is available to us!

Nat Garrett, Sierra Club's Field Media Specialist, will be in Des Moines to
conduct a SC Media Training.  Sierrans who have been through the training,
including Kendra, say it is excellent!

The training will be 9:00 to 5:00, on Saturday July 19th, and will take
place at the Audubon Center at Saylorville Lake. It is free to invitees, and
I would love for you to participate. It will include all aspects of media
training from recognizing opportunities for message to actual work before a
camera.

As a spokesperson on important environmental issues today, especially Energy
and CAFOs, I wanted to offer you this opportunity.

The training will be limited to no more than 20 persons, so please let me
know of your interest. I believe it will help to make us all more effective
in our ability to punch our messages through on important environmental
issues.
