Bills have been introduced in the Iowa House and Senate relating to the E&T
lists, to change the Code as explained below.
There are two bills that are the same, SF 2100 and HF 2157. They are
assigned to the respective Natural Resources committees.
Introduction was yesterday and last Friday, so no subcommittees are named
as yet.

1 25 EXPLANATION
1 26 This bill amends Code section 481B.3 relating to the
1 27 endangered and threatened fish, plants, and wildlife lists of
1 28 the state. The bill provides that the state lists of
1 29 endangered and threatened fish, plants, and wildlife shall
1 30 only include fish, plants, and wildlife listed on the federal
1 31 lists of endangered and threatened fish, plants, and wildlife.
