All I know about that situation at the moment, Tom, is what was in the
article. Most people use 1000 animal units because that is what the EPA uses
for permitting. As you know, 1000 equals 1000 cattle and 2500 hogs, I think
there is a size attached but do not remember off the top of my head.

I will email my Kansas colleague, and ask.
