events on Saturday, April 22.
Our local group has teamed up with a coalition of about 20 groups, led by
the Johnson County Soil & Water Conservation District. Come for the entire
day or pick an event that particularly interests you. The tree giveaway
begins at 10:30 a.m. Four different types of trees will be available on a
first-come basis.

Carol Sweeting, Iowa City Water -- "Edible Aquifer" and "Cool Hand Luke"
University of Iowa Press book drawing for over 20 books for adults and
children.
United States Geological Survey -- The Enviroscape will be demonstrated,
which is an interactive display for kids and adults to show different
effects people, agriculture and businesses have on our waterbodies.
Johnson County Integrated Roadside Vegetation Manager Chris Henze will
demonstrate a hydroseeder and will have information available on the "Adopt
A Roadside" program.
