Here are the study bills for Sierra Club during the 2001 session so far.
These are in addition to the HF and SF list just received.

Study bills do not accumulate the same actions occurring accumulated in the
narrative. Note that I include the Bill #, Bill Title, and some notes of
milestones. Many bills have been not even been drafted and introduced as of
this writing. Bills have through Friday, March 16, to be reported out of
Committee in order to clear the ³First Funnel². This report includes those
bills that were eligible for action thru February 23, 2001.

HSB 29    This bill authorizes the department of natural resources to enter
into an interstate wildlife violators compact with one or more other states
to enforce state laws and rules relating to the protection and conservation
of wildlife.

HSB 44    This bill defines a transfer station in Code section 455B.301 as a
type of sanitary disposal project for transferring loads of solid waste,
with or without reduction in volume, to another transportation unit.

HSB 89    This bill amends certain provisions of Code chapter 56 pertaining
to campaign finance law.

HSB 99    This bill provides that a property owner cannot be required to
abate a nuisance on the owner's property unless the owner first receives
written notice by certified mail that describes the nuisance, what must be
done to abate it, and the time allowed to achieve the abatement.

HSB 142    This bill amends Code chapter 455C, which relates to the beverage
container control law.  The bill replaces the current system for redeeming
and recycling beverage containers with a new system.

HSB 153    This bill makes changes to provisions in Code chapter 476A,
relating to siting for electric plant generators, as well as making related
changes in other parts of the Code.

SSB 1008    A bill for an act relating to exempting from the sales and use
taxes for approximately three months the gross receipts from the sale,
furnishing, or service of metered gas and fuel, including propane and
heating oil, used for heating purposes for residential-type dwellings.

SSB 1138    This bill implements new Code section 56.6A, relating to
electronic filing and disclosure of campaign finance disclosure reports.

SSB 1159    This joint resolution nullifies an amendment to an
administrative rule of the department of natural resources which strikes
reptiles from a list of unprotected nongame wildlife.

SSB 1161    This bill relates to the application of certain air quality
requirements to indoor sources.  The bill defines "indoor source" as any
emission unit or air contaminant source which is not directly vented or
directly exhausted to the outside atmosphere which includes, without
limitation, any air exchange through general ventilation, windows, doors,
and cracks.
