Kent L,  One of the more popular spots in Iowa is the Yellow River State
forest in N.E. Iowa.  I'm not sure about facilities there but it would be a
good idea to bring a water filter.  Another area, is extreme S. E. Iowa is
Shimek State Forest west of Fort Madison.
This is wilderness hardwood timber.  Water sources might be scarce so bring
