Folks,

From what I understand, the current plan is thus:

There are three short distance train zones (California, Pacific NW (Eugene,
OR-Vancouver, BC) and the Northeast), Amtrak has enough cash to keep these
running.

Long distance trains:
Most will be contracted out to other firms.  Service disruptions may occur but
will be minor.  In fact, service may increase, including a new train being
proposed along the I-80 corridor, originating in Chicago.
