I don't know how much extra income a farmer could expect from net metering,
but the fact that a farmer could pick up $4000 from each windmill a power
company has on his land per year without the farmer having to lift a finger
still sounds like a pretty good deal for farmers. Each tower takes up less
than an acre so that is a lot more income than a farmer could expect from
raising corn on that spot. Jerry
