Jim, I haven't heard anything about these meetings yet. If one is in my area
I will go. I doubt if they will talk much about mass transit, but we could
sure use it in a lot of areas around the state such as Cedar Rapids/Iowa
City/Waterloo/Cedar Falls and the Quad Cities. Try to get a commitment to always
include ped and bicycle lanes or a nearby path whenever any new road construction
is planned. Too many new streets and highways are absolutely unsafe to walk
